When Osbee first met with the homeowners of this 12,000 sq. ft. residence, we found TVs with cable boxes everywhere, an outdated lighting system, and multiple banks of light switches and old-fashioned thermostats cluttering the walls. The home was loaded with technology, however it was missing the links to connect it all together.

In the Living Room, what looks like an elegant mirror hangs above the fireplace. But at the command from a handheld remote, touchscreen, iPad, or iPhone, the television picture magically appears.

Although it looks like it is simply hung on the wall, the placement and installation of this mirror TV required intricate engineering and a special mount to ensure adequate ventilation and chimney clearance.

Surveillance cameras and electronic door locks integrated into the system allow the homeowners to see who is at the front door and grant them access from any touchscreen or mobile device running the Osbee Home app. Single keypads replace banks of dimmers and switches to control multiple light fixtures all with one touch of a button.

Motorized shades throughout the residence can be accessed on any touchscreen or mobile device. To raise or lower a shade, simply swipe the shade icon up or down.

From simple recessed lighting to the sconces and stunning chandelier in the Foyer, all the lighting is easily adjusted using local smart switches or the Osbee Home app.

The Dedicated Home Theater has a dual design: For casual viewing and after-school cartoons, the wall-mounted TV is perfect.

On movie nights, a 15-foot screen drops down from the ceiling to display the picture from the movie-theater-quality HD projection system and the room is filled with robust sound from the 5.1 surround-sound speakers. An iPad makes it all easy to control from any seat in the house.
