Alongside the customary appliances, the bespoke Kitchen cabinetry at Osbee’s Mansion In The Sky was also designed to accommodate a flushmount TV enclosure and a special housing for a small touchscreen. The ceiling fixtures, chandelier, and speakers in the Kitchen can be adjusted using the multi-function programmable keypad at the entry to the room or from any touchscreen, iPad and iPhone running the Osbee Home app custom-programmed for the residence.
Lighting often takes center stage in Dining Rooms. Using thoughtful lighting design and custom-programmed keypads, setting the perfect ambiance for the room is just a touch away.
The Kitchen’s tabletop touchscreen at Osbee’s Entertainment Marvel serves as command central, letting the family control lighting and climate, check on activities by the pool on the backyard cameras, and cue up music, TV, and movies all while grabbing a snack or prepping hors d’oeuvres for guests. The single lighting keypad on the backsplash takes the place of multiple traditional light switches
Motorized shades and drapery tracks in Osbee’s Mod Manor Kitchen are controlled from the 15-inch countertop touchscreen, a nearby keypad, or an iPad. The shades can be raised and lowered to the desired height simply by swiping the shades icons up and down.
In the Breakfast Room of Osbee’s Westchester Estate, lighting, TV, audio, climate, and the other technology in the home can be controlled right from the dining table.
In the Dining Room, barely perceptible architectural ceiling speakers and low-profile down lights flank the hand-blown glass chandelier. The lighting can be dimmed, the solar shades can be lowered, and a favorite music playlist can be selected using the touchscreens and iPads running the Osbee Home app to set the perfect atmosphere for an elegant dinner party.
