The Integrated Estate

    • Osbee integrated all the technology — including lighting, shades, housewide audio and video, security, surveillance, and wireless Internet — making this 10,800-square-foot residence a smart home.
At first, the homeowners of this 10,800-square-foot residence simply wanted to update the technology in their Master Suite — and that was all.

Osbee replaced the standard-issue TV, cable box, DVD, stereo system, and light switches with a fully-engineered media and lighting control system designed to match the exceptionally high-end architecture and finishes in the home.

Once the couple experienced the convenience of an Osbee system in their bedroom, they decided to fully integrate the rest of their home.
    • Osbee integrated all the lighting in the home making it more efficient and easy to use. The first two buttons on the custom-programmed Crestron C2N-CBF-P Flush Mount Cameo Keypad illuminate the Foyer and the Stairway. The third turns the lights off the entire first floor as the family retires upstairs for the evening.

    • Osbee placed this large Crestron TS-1542 wall-mounted touchscreen at the entrance to the Kitchen to give the family convenient one-touch control of the entire system. The keypad below provides quick, preset levels of illumination programmed for specific needs — from general ambient lighting suitable at the breakfast table to task lighting over the kitchen counter when it's time to make dinner.

    • At Osbee we strive to let the decor — not the electronics — be the focal point of any room. Here, a single, unobtrusive Crestron C2N-CBF-P Flush Mount Cameo Keypad with custom-engraved keys replaced a bank of light switches and controls four zones of lighting near and in the Kitchen.

    • For the TV in the Kitchen, Osbee used a Future Automation PSE90 motorised articulated TV wall mount from the kitchen table or further back behind the island, and then tucked neatly away against the wall when not in use. Strategically placed business-grade Cisco wireless access points (WAPs) ensure fast, even, and reliable Internet access throughout the residence.
The TV in the Breakfast Room is mounted on a motorized adjustable arm that can be angled for easy viewing from the kitchen table or further back behind the island, and then tucked neatly away against the wall when not in use.

An iPad provides portable system control and doubles as a tabletop touchscreen when placed in its dock. The home's wireless network makes use of strategically placed business-grade wireless access points (WAPs) to ensure fast, even, and reliable Internet access on any computer or mobile device throughout the 12,000-square-foot residence and the outdoor pool and patio areas.
    • The 10-inch Crestron TSW-1052 touchscreen and Crestron C2N-CBF-P Flash Mount Cameo Keypad placed at the entrance to the Family Room give the homeowners convenient local access to all the functions of their Osbee system as they enter the room.

Near the doorway of the Family Room, a 10-inch wall-mounted touchscreen and slim, low-profile flush-mount keypad give the homeowners convenient local access to all the functions of their Osbee system as they enter the room.

    • Osbee's iPad control app customized for this residence lets the family select a movie from their Kaleidescape Strato 4K Ultra HD movie library, control the volume of the high-end Bowers & Wilkins bookshelf speakers, turn on the gas fireplace, and adjust climate and lighting levels right from their seats.
The lighting design of the Family Room provides the prefect ambiance for casual entertaining with carefully placed accent lighting to highlight the artwork in the room.
